온라인 설문 조사 실시

온라인 설문 조사를 실시했습니다.
설문은 "알고 계시는 시사, 사회, 정치 풍자 만화"입니다.
조사 대상은 많은 방문객이 오고가는 커뮤니티 사이트의 방문객이며.
방문객들의 특별히 공통된 관심사는 없습니다.
설문 기간은 승인 날짜로부터 4주간이지만, 매주 한 번씩 결과 데이터를 모을 것입니다.
설문 항목은 임의로 정하였으나 추가적인 의견이 있을 경우 설문 조사에 포함되게 됩니다.

HCI ( Human-computer interaction )


Nintendo Wii

Plain, A good example is Nintendo Wii. Nintendo Wii has good HCI itself but the properer example is Johnny Lee's Wiimote hack project. Johnny Lee try to use wonderful HCI in computer by hacking Wiimote, Wii's controller.


Microsoft Surface

This is well-known microsoft's surface computing. The first opening to public is surface home version called 'Tabletop'. This moving picture is labtop computer applying surface technology.
In a nutshell, surface technology is a system that perceive movement by sensing infrared signal, not by using capacitive or registive overlay.


iPhone

iPhone is showing capacitive touch type well. This moving picture is short and impressive.


Physical Display with Ferromagnetic Fluid.

German interaction and interface designer Martin Frey(CabBoots, JITWatch) created SnOil, a physical display using programmable ferromagnetic fluid.
SnOil is a name mixing snake and oil.

5th summary ㅡ Apple and Alan Turing


I knew Alan Turing before this week's lecture. How would I know? Alan Turing is person that I have already seen in the rumor about 'Apple' logo. As I knew in this week's lecture, Alan Turing is a homosexual, is operated on the chemical castration, and select being died by apple injected cyanide of potassium. The rumor's opinion is that the one-bited apple in 'Apple' logo is the apple of Alan Turing. Thinking that 'Apple' logo was rainbow-colored once, the opinion sound plausible.

However, that's not truth. Steven jobs worked in apple in fact and Rainbow-color mean expressable color of 'Apple II'. Definitly, the original logo is Newton holding apple under the tree, not rainbow-colored apple.

1. Image Concept


- Basic concept : 목이 짧은 기린
- Character : 나서길 좋아하고 말이 많다.남을 잘 도와준다.우유부단하다

- Profile :

나이 : 10살

키 : 보통 기린의 절반 (3m 이하)

색깔 : 밤색을 띤 갈색
- Story line :점점 높은 나무가 사라지고 기린들은 

긴 목을 이용하여 먹을 열매가 사라졌다.
그러던 어느 날 태어난 기린이 짧은 목을 가지고 태어났다.

남들과 다른 외모에 많은 고민을 했지만
자신만의 신체적 특징을 잘 발휘하여중요한 역할을 맡게 되었고 자신감을 얻게 된다.



3. Proportion & Color


- 실제 기린과 달리 다리가 짧고 통통하다.

목이 짧은 게 가장 큰 특징이다.

겉으로 봐서는 기린같지 않다.

 전체적으로 말랐으며 둥근 무늬가 듬성듬성있다.

4th summary

In this week, we learned social networks. social networks. What is social networks? Social networks' dictionany meaning is grounded in the observation that social actors are interdependent and that the links among them have important consequences for every individual. 

There is the company named "Netflix". Netflix offer the largest  online DVD rental service in United States. Why am I talking about this? Netflix has developed and maintained an recommendation system besed on rating and reviews by customers, similar to the system used by Amazon.com that I studied in this class. Furthermore, Netflix held tournament that offer a $1,000,000 prize and named Netflix prize(netflixprize.com). This tournament is for the movie recommendation algorithm that could beat its existing algorithm. My senior's rank is 687.
Netflix Prize is what social networks is.
