Summary 9

We studied computer-aid, but It's studying from the viewpoint of computer, not human. In fact, Any lecture do not deal with human and even in humanistics. What this lecture and my 9th summary explain is “All media are extensions of some human faculty.”. For example, the wheel is an extension of the foot, the book is an extension of the eye, and clothing is an extension of the skin.

The six million dollar man is motivated by 'Cyborg', novel by martin Caidin. Steve Austin, the hero of Cyborg and The six million dollar man, have an accident while a space flight experiment, so he lost left eye, right arm, and legs. However, he is reborn as first bionic man by OSI(Office of scientific intelligence). This event make me write summary. The extension of the eye of Steve Austin let zooming in 20.1:1, and having night vision. The extension of the right arm let having power of bulldozer. The extension of the legs let running in 108km per hour, and jumping to 15ft.

The point in this TV movie and my summary is the artificial parts will have influence on everything with expansion of science.
